Convention season is quickly approaching, and the first one on my list is in the Zombie Capital of the world, Pittsburgh, PA, and that is Horror Realm. Spring Break will not be the same after this, join thousands of other horror fans at Horror Realm’s Spring Break Massacre 2015 Friday, March 6-Sunday, March 8 at the Crowne Plaza, Pittsburgh West Greentree.

What would a Spring Break Massacre be without a pretty awesome list of horror guests? On the roster for this year’s show is talent such as Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Tony Todd (Candyman), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th 2009), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story Freak Show), Erika Ervin (American Horror Story Freak Show), Tiffany Shepis (The Prometheus Project) and Sean Whalen (Laid To Rest). Thinking of a name that is missing from this list? Don’t worry, Horror Realm is not done announcing guests just yet.

Horror Realm is a convention for horror fans by horror fans, so you can rest assured that this won’t be your run of the mill, corporate convention. For those of you that do not know, Scares That Care! is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing horror fans together to help sick kids and their families. They hold special donation events every month online. This month’s event will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 12am to 11:45pm. This event is called the “Scares That Care!” $5.00 “Black Friday” Donation Day!

This event is to help three families in need. Your donation is tax deductible and with a $5 donation, you will be eligible for prizes.

Here’s how it works. For every $5.00 donated, a number will be assigned. $5.00 would equal one number, $15.00 would equal three numbers, $25.00 would equal five numbers, and so on. At the end of the donation drive, we will select random numbers and contact those people to pick their prize! -Facebook Event Page

The horror community is a large one and no matter what other people think, we also have the biggest hearts and always band together for the greater good. Come join myself and many others in this incredible event to help some families that could really use it. You don’t even have to leave your house to join!
