About The Enemy Series:

When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician – every adult fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused and hungry. Only children under fourteen remain, and they’re fighting to survive. A gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city – down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground – the grown-ups lie in wait.

Excerpt from The Enemy:

A sickness has afflicted everyone over the age of 16; anyone who is a “grown-up” has become a decomposing, brainless 1423145046creature that survives by feeding on children.

The children and teens have barricaded themselves in fortified buildings, fighting off attacks from the grown-ups who travel in packs, like hungry dogs. Before long, the young survivors are promised a safe haven in Buckingham Palace and make their way to it, crossing London on a perilous journey that will test them in harrowing ways.

But their fight to stay alive is far from over—the threat from within is as real as the one on the outside.

About The Fallen:

TheFallenAs the chilling Enemy series continues to build toward its grand finale, the kids who have survived the diseased grown-ups grow more desperate for food, for a cure, for hope of any kind . . .

First the sickness rotted the adults’ minds. Then their bodies. Now they stalk the streets of London, hunting human flesh. The Holloway crew are survivors. They’ve fought their way across the city and made it to the Natural History Museum alive–just barely. But their fight will never end while the Enemy lives, unless there’s another way. . . . The kids at the museum are looking for a cure. All they need are medical supplies. To get them they must venture down unfamiliar streets, where it isn’t only crazed, hungry sickos who lurk in the shadows. In this fifth terrifying entry in Charlie Higson’s Enemy series, suddenly it’s not so clear who–or what–the enemy is.

About the Author:

Charlie Higson is an acclaimed comedy writer, producer, actor, and genuine James CharlieHigsonBond aficionado. He is the author of the adult thrillers Full Whack and King of the Ants; the internationally best-selling Young Bond series: SilverFin, Blood Fever, Double or Die, Hurricane Gold, and By Royal Command; and five books in the Enemy series. Charlie is a fan of zombie movies and believes that we shouldn’t try to prevent young people from experiencing fear, because it helps prepare them for later life. When writing The Enemy, he kept racheting up the action and description in an attempt to frighten the pants off his ten-year-old son. He lives in London.

Be sure to check out The Enemy series on Facebook and twitter.
