Without indie horror, the horror genre would not only be down the toilet, but probably passed the whole way through the sewers right not. With the “Hollywood remake craze” being all that we hear about and all that is getting recognition, indie horror needs as much help as it can get. There is a new campaign being launched through Kickstarter for a new film called “The Mangled” from Lawrence W. Nelson II.
“The Mangled” has already met their goal, but with 24 days left to help fund the film, why not spread the word and continue to help out? Not only does the concept of the film sound incredible, but the cast is one of serious icon power. With names like Kane Hodder, Bill Moseley, Michael Berryman and Jacqui Holland on board, “The Mangled” is sure to be an amazing film.
Tells the bloody tale of a family celebrating a 25th anniversary on a rainy night in Southern, Texas. When four twenty-somethings come pounding on their door desperate for help. And one of them serious injured. But as the night goes on, we find out the Bates have secrets of their own.
If “The Mangled” sounds like a film you would like to see, feel free to donate and spread the word. Every penny and every bit of promotion counts.
